FAT LOSS EXPECTATIONS !

Almost on a daily basis I see and hear the frustration of those that want their weight loss results to go quicker .
I get what you are saying, I understand you, I’ve been there!! 😘

However, now that I know more about what’s really involved , I am going to share some expectations and reality with you !

🔰OVERNIGHT TRANSFORMATION !
This sound familiar ‘I’ll start Monday….
I’ll do loads more exercise , push harder, eat right , drink less alcohol. With all that I’ll see a difference almost straight away !’

The reality is , it took time for the weight to go on, it will take more than just a week or two to come off.
People often believe they will lose more weight than is realistic.

In about 4 weeks if you have been adherent you will see fat loss, a dress size down and feeling great without starving yourself.

The key though is to keep these new results long term!

And to understand that sometimes the effort it feels you are putting in, does not always equate to lots of calories being burnt.

Walking and running for example ! Brilliant if you are using it to increase your daily movement , but be aware you may not be burning as many calories as you think. Your body is very clever and adapts quickly.

🔰EXPECTING A STRAIGHT LINE DOWN !
This is a massive weight loss expectation !
You could get all the way down close to your goal and 💣 ! You feel you have gone backwards 10 steps !

Our bodies are not machines , fluctuations are normal…Be patient, Be consistent… you will hit your goal and if you learn what your body needs along the way , you will keep your results .
Most people give up too early !

🔰EASE!
If you believe you will lose the weight with little or no effort, you will be disappointed. It doesn’t need to be ‘hard’ but it does mean consistency, discipline and effort.

🔰THE EXPECTATION THAT IF YOU LOSE YOUR WEIGHT AND REACH YOUR GOAL YOU WILL BE TONS HAPPIER !
Happiness goes up and down regardless of your weight.

And it all depends on your circumstances in all areas of your life… if you are overweight or have health issues , does that mean you can’t be happy- of course not.

But when you do get moving and eat better you increase a hormone called serotonin – the happy hormone … so get moving and eat smart !

🔰LIFESTYLE
If you think you can go back to your old behaviour once you have reached your goals , you are mistaken.

Only permanent changes will give you permanent results!

Learn, adapt … emabrace the you you worked for !

🔰WTF DO I DO?- HELP!!
You’ve started an exercise plan, you think you are getting this nutrition malarkey right… but you still feel lost , or not sure you are getting the best results you can..
